Winter 2014 is going to be AMAZING…and here’s why :

In celebration of my 40th post, and the first snowfall on the mountains, I decided to share my top 40 goals for the 2014 winter season! 

Make Shit Happen

  1. 20+ days of splitboarding!
  2. Season edit – we’ve got a shiny new GoPro, things might get ridiculous!
  3. Ride the Single Cone couloir
  4. Ride the “Rifle range”
  5. Ride the Cardrona Back Bowl
  6. Ride Mt. Dewar
  7. Ride the Crown Range
  8. Kirtleburn Hut overnight
  9. Complete my pre-season preparation – sunnies, goggles, gloves, thermal bottoms
  10. Go to a snow flow yoga class at Yoga Nadi
  11. Splitfest Down Under
  12. Double my instagram followers
  13. Double my blog followers (help me do this by hitting the ‘follow’ button!)
  14. Write 3x guest posts
  15. Enjoy a mid-winter retreat
  16. Test ride & review new splitboards
  17. Host a GIVE AWAY!
  18. Winter campervan / splitboard mission
  19. Do some serious Avalanche Rescue practice
  20. Donate to Aspiring Avalanche Dogs
  21. Make a mini video series
  22. Create my ultimate snowboard playlist 
  23. Crochet a new pair of gloves
  24. Enter the Treble Cone banked slalom
  25. Buy, and learn to use crampons
  26. Exit my comfort zone at least once a week
  27. Have a workshop session
  28. Create delicious mountain fuel food with Adam
  29. Get the sewing machine out and make some new bandanas
  30. Finish sewing Adam’s new balaclava before the season starts!
  31. Continue posting to the blog at least once a week
  32. Host some interviews
  33. Document my best travel hacks when we go to SplitFest
  34. Learn how to use the SLR properly! (no more auto settings!)
  35. Do a sunrise split-mission and enjoy watching the sunrise over the mountains
  36. Enjoy a weekly trip to the onsen
  37. Start the ‘Japanuary’ fund
  38. Improve my splitboarding technique
  39. Get involved in Winterfest
  40. Tick off everything on this list!!

 

I’m super excited that winter is finally here, and judging by that list, it’s gunna be an EPIC one!

      Thanks Steph! Seeing your achievements over my summer definitely helped shape some of those goals for me 😀
      I’m super excited about it, and putting my list out there for everyone to see has really helped me become more focussed on achieving everything! Can’t wait for the season to begin!
